"Developing Content for Mobile Devices"
Since emerging in the summer of 2004, MP3 technology has allowed users to create context on all subjects. Pod castings which the root words iPod allow listeners to subscribe to show and have it automatically downloaded onto a computer, and transferred into an iPod or MP3 player. As we walk amongst society, we can find little white earphone speaking out from sweatshirts and business suits. From treadmills to office cubicles, millions of people are plugged into Mp3 player. Often these MP3 player are iPods manufactured by the Apple Computer Company.
In the education arena mobile devices are becoming an everyday use for teaching in the classroom. Often teachers discover that 70% of the students learning capabilities increase with the assistance of mobile devices and a motivation lesson plan.
In most classrooms they have created mobile devices for Special Need Students by utilizing the computer, iPhone, MP3 and the assistance of the parents. When creating a mobile device it should always be simple so it can be utilized in the classroom and at home. Teacher's and
parents must always remember that students learn best by redundant and coherent lesson plans.
The devices utilized in the classroom will teach the students and their parents simultaneously
and gives the students a new way of learning and their parents a new way of teaching. This
combination of mobile devices, parents, teacher and lesson plans are what will make a teaching
plan successful.
Additionally, I would also give the parents information on websites that teach learning with
mobile devices for their child and the websites for playing games. These websites would consist of http://www.ipod/ or http://www.mp3/. Allowing them to play games just for fun is another way to teach and for them to learn the computer and mobile devices.
With reading and postings on my blog-site I have gathered education information that has helped my group with new ideas on which mobile devices and websites are best for our project, the classroom, special need students and their parents.
