In this session we will enlighten you about the various online resources we utilized and what we learn about technology and mobile devices on our blog site. We used various resources and articles from http://web.ebscohost.com.libproxy.lob.csusb.edu/, to provide an explanation of how to use the application and web service for learning and communication. We used a mobile device to illustrate our point with a 3-5 min.video.
Our project will demonstrate how developing content for mobile devices and sufficient detail about communication with parents and students aids in creating podcast, and recording blog sites for learning lesson plans on line. This will have a great impact for teaching in and out of the classroom.
Now that we have educated ourselves about mobile devices, we can create our classroom blog site for podcast information. We are now aware of how to get started in creating podcast recordings for the classroom blog site. First, we learned about deciding on which type of computer to use such as Apple vs PCs, we have both types of computers available to us in the classroom. Next we focused on the software services offered, for instance PC Microsoft is supported by Audacity application. Garage band supports an Apple application, and its only for PC Macintosh. Both applications can save audio files on the MP3 format. Lastly, we discovered how to get our updated notes or homework on a regular bases by syndicating the pod casting to our students and parents on the blog site.
